The cost of the course is AUD$2,000 +GST. This includes cost of certification, materials, and a continental breakfast, lunch and snacks on both days.

Introduction To The Scrum Course

Learn the essentials of working as a ScrumMaster or Scrum team member in this course. While the Scrum Alliance provides a list of core concepts that must be covered in the class, each instructor creates his or her own material, allowing courses to differ based on the strengths, interests, and experiences of the instructor.

The Presenter: Jens Østergaard

Jens Østergaard, the worlds first Certified Scrum Professional [CSP], is a founding member of the Scrum Foundation which is headed by Dr. Jeff Sutherland.

Not all Scrum courses are the same and Jens will present his personal flavor of the class, adding a wealth of experience as a CSP.

Jens has certified more Scrum persons in Australia than any other Scrum trainer and you can be certain of a top quality experience.

Participants will receive printed and bound material on the first day of class.

Each individual is trained to be able to assume the following responsibilities:

• Remove the barriers between development and business (ProductOwner) so the business directly drives development;
• Teach the business how to maximize ROI and meet their objectives through Scrum;
• Improve the lives of the development team by facilitating creativity and empowerment;
• Improve the productivity of the develop­ment team in any way possible; and
• Improve the engineering practices and tools so each increment of functionality is potentially shippable.

Graduation

As a result of successful completion of this Scrum training, each participant will get an invitation to join the Scrum Alliance as a certified ScrumMaster.

Attendees who are Project Management Institute PMP's are eligible for 15 PDUs.
